Vintage Inspired Sizzix Favor Basket

Hello! Today I would like to share a a vintage inspired 3D Favor Basket that I made with Eileen Hull's Sizzix Scoreboard Basket Die and Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Thinlit die set.

I love working with crepe paper, I love glitter and I love making flowers. This project was a combination of so many "loves", that it was pure joy to create.

I started by cutting my basket with my Sizzix Big Shot, painting the basket, and making my flowers. I used Eileen Hull's Colorbox Blends to shade and color my flowers before glittering them. I used "Coconut" and "Tutu" Ink Blend colors. You can see more in Eileen's Etsy Shop.

After the ink dried on my flowers, I glittered them and cut my basket fringe.
I am pleased with the way the flowers came out!
Glitter really does make everything happy!
